Explore the art and natural wonders of Northern Italy by joining us on our private tour which takes You through some of the most attractive locations in the upper side of the Italian Peninsula.

 

Experience the highlights of the magical city of Venice by strolling along the narrow streets flanked by canals and colored houses, sailing over the Grand Canal to admire the splendor of the palaces or going to the little islands to be surprised by the local craft productions. Depart on an excursion by motorboat to discover the three famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon: first stop at a glass-blowing factory on Murano, then continue with a relaxing walk in Burano, where traditional lacemaking workshops are scattered among the island’s brightly colored homes; last stop in Torcello, the “cradle” of Venetian civilization where to visit the Byzantine Cathedral.

 

The journey across Northern Italy goes through Ortisei, which is the largest of all the villages in Val Gardena, at 1236 m above sea level, in the midst of the famous Dolomite mountain scenery. Named UNESCO World Heritage site thanks to its exceptional beauty, the town is famous for its artistic wood carvings and beautiful pedestrian area with shops and bars. Worth the visit the Ladin Museum, with its large collection of artistic craftworks from 17th to 20th century. Enjoy a day for relax or go for trekking. You can catch the funicular connecting Ortisei to Alpe Rasciesa at 2100m and admire the wonderful panorama.

 

Reach the scenic Alpe di Siusi at the foot of the Europe’s largest and most beautiful Alpine meadow. An exciting one-hour drive will take You to Tirolean Bolzano; take time to explore the town and its environs.

Discover Trento, a young lively city, and the romantic Verona, famous for being the setting for the Shakespeare play Romeo and  Juliet. Stroll along the city center and its most beautiful sights.

Travel along the splendor of Garda Lake enjoying breathtaking views of the wonderful villages on the eastern shores, such as the “Baia del Silenzio”, a peaceful beach surrounded by green olive and fir trees, directly overlooking the clear waters of the lake. Stop in the picturesque town of Sirmione, a must to visit for anyone who is on Lake Garda. This old fishing village offers romantic views and picturesque spots to visit, such as the archaeological site of the Catullo Caves.

Day 1: Milan

Arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport, transfer and accommodation in Your 4* selected hotel centrally located. Time at leisure to explore the city.

Day 2: Milan - Venice

After breakfast transfer to Venice by train (Freccia Bianca or Freccia Rossa first class). Arrival in Venice, check in and accommodation in Your 4* selected hotel in Venice-Mestre. Walking tour to experience the highlights of this magical city.

Day 3: Venice

After breakfast a guided tour by boat takes You to the wonderful Murano, Burano and Torcello islands. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or for a Gondola ride.

Day 4: Venice - Ortisei

After breakfast head towards Ortisei, a mountain village renowned for its artistic wood carvings and beautiful pedestrian area with shops and bars. It offers several proposals for leisure, sport, trekking. The way offers the spectacle of the Friulian Dolomites to the right and the Belluno ones to the left. Check in and accommodation in Your 4* selected hotel in Ortisei.

Day 5: Ortisei

After breakfast full day at leisure to relax or go for trekking. Worth the visit the Ladin Museum, with its large collection of artistic craftworks from 17th to 20th century. You can also catch the funicular connecting Ortisei to Alpe Rasciesa at 2100m in just 8 minutes; here on a beautiful plateau You can admire the picturesque panorama. Return back to the hotel in Ortisei.

Day 6: Ortisei - Alpi di Siusi - Bolzano - Trento

After breakfast head towards Alpe di Siusi at the foot of the Europe’s largest and most beautiful Alpine meadow. Enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to the Tirolean Bolzano. Later transfer to Trento, young town rich in art, architecture and events. Check in and overnight in Your 4* selected hotel centrally located.

Day 7: Trento - Verona - Desenzano del Garda

After breakfast travel along the splendor of Garda Lake enjoying breathtaking views of the wonderful villages on the eastern shores, such as the peaceful beach of “Baia del Silenzio”. Stop in Sirmione, a must to visit for anyone who is on Lake Garda. Later transfer to Verona, stroll along the city center and its most beautiful sights. Check in and overnight in Your 4* selected hotel in Desenzano del Garda.

Day 8: Desenzano del Garda - Sirmione - Milan

After breakfast walking tour of the picturesque spa town of Sirmione. In the afternoon transfer to Milan, one of the world’s fashion capital and home to the Italian style. Check in and overnight in Your 4* selected hotel centrally located.

After breakfast,  Milan walking tour to discover its most important art and historical highlights. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and individual visits.

Tour Location

Venice

Venice, famous for its casino and its carnival, known as the ‘city on water’, can be appreciated in many ways, strolling along the narrow streets flanked by canals and coloured houses, sailing over along the Grand Canal to admire the splendour of the palaces or going to the little islands to be suprised by the local craft productions.   Enjoy an excursion with private boat and guide to the 3 islands: the first stop will be in Murano, the island of the glass, here You will have the oppurtunity to see a “Glass Master” in action inside a Glass Factory. The visit will continue with a relaxing walk in Burano, the fishers’ village  with its multi coloured house (this little island is also famous for its laces).  Last stop Torcello, the “craddle” of Venetian civilisation where You will visit the Byzantine Cathedral, harbouring the unique mosaic “The Universal Judgement”.  

Ortisei

Ortisei is the main town in the Val Gardena, at 1236 m above sea level, and has surrounded by the alpine landscape of the Dolomites, named UNESCO World Heritage site thanks to its exceptional beauty. Day at disposal to visit Ortisei and its Ladin Museum with a large collection of artistic craftworks from 17th to 20th century, such as old wooden toys, fossils and minerals of the Dolomites.

Alpe di Siusi

Alpe di Siusi is an charming place, thanks to the magnificence of its mountains, to the smoothness of its slopes, and its folklore. Dotted with farms and crowned by towering granite cliffs, this area offers hundreds of kms of trails with an array of challenging hikes and easy walks for everyone.

Bolzano

The Tirolean Bolzano is on the border with Austria, so is the meeting between the Italian culture and the German one. It’s a bustling town with events and festivals through the whole year and is rich in vineyards, parks, shops, cafès with excellent desserts.

Verona

Verona, the city of love in the Veneto region, famous for being the setting for the Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet.  The half day walking tour of Verona will first take You at the Arena of Verona, an ancient Roman amphitheater of the city. Admire the Arena and the imposing square where it is located, taking pictures and learing more about this place. View of the House of Juliet, that inspired William Shakespeare in his tragedy “Romeo and Juliet”, and of Piazza delle Erbe, the heart of the city.

Sirmione

Sirmione is an important touristic village thanks for the presence of Roman and medieval remains and for its thermal waters. The Catullo Caves are the ruins of one of the largest residential villas of northern Italy and are located in an exceptional position overlooking Sirmione and Lake Garda. Milan

Milan is the capital of Lombardy, the richest and most populated region in Italy. Ancient and modern at the same time is the undisputed world’s capital of fashion, design, commerce and finance. Milan has a vibrant cultural life: art exhibitions, theatre performances, music festivals and famous opera house La Scala Theatre.
