In October 2018 with a mandate on behalf of an international pharmaceutical company, Congress Lab planned, organized and executed the event “Desametasone Intravitreale towards new frontiers in DME –The Italian experience , including handling all of the logistics. By using the latest technology along with media and visual instruments the event was quite interactive. It took place in a historical palace of Matera with a fantastic view of the famous “Sassi”.
The focus of the event was patients suffering from diabetic macular oedema and the difficulty in managing and handling these complications with the objective to find common ground to improve the quality of life for all affected by this illness. During the event clinic dates clinical data was presented prevailing from real-life Italian experiences in order to discuss the safety and efficiency of “desamentasone intravitreale”. The first day was the day of presentation followed by a dinner symposium and a panel discussion. During the second day, there was a round-table discussion with two interactive workshop sessions.
It’s location was very suggestive and characteristic with its courtyard dating back to the seventeen hundreds and the monumental staircase that led to the halls decorated and furnished with appropriate decor and antique furniture.
